Telephone number, name, messages provided by the person who subscribes to the broadcast list of the Data controller through the application "WhatsApp".
This information notice regards solely the data handled by the Data controller and not any processing by WhatsApp Ireland Limited o WhatsApp Inc., access can be had to the broadcast list service through the App, so please read the Warnings on the sue of WhatsApp.
The data processing is aimed at permitting the Data controller to carry out all stages connected with the broadcasting of news via WhatsApp to those who subscribe to the broadcast list activated by the Data controller, as well as to provide any further information that may be requested by those receiving the news. The processing of data for this aim is based on the voluntary subscription of the interested person to the broadcast service through WhatsApp. The provision of the data necessary for registration for the broadcast list of the Data controller is mandatory for the activation of the service and to enable the Data controller to send messages to those wishing to receive them.
The processing of the data is carried out by means of manual, information technology and digital tools strictly in pursuance of the stated aims and in any case in such a way as to guarantee the security and the confidentiality of the data, in compliance with the principles of transparency, lawfulness and propriety. Contact details and any messages sent by the subscriber to the broadcast list, are stored by the Data controller in servers located in Italy and in countries in the EU.
The WhatsApp services may however be localised outside the area of the European Union. The transfer is authorised on the basis of specific decisions of European Union and of the Guarantor for the protection of personal data, and in particular decision 1250/2016 (Privacy Shield), to which WhatsApp subscribes, so no further consent is required. The contact details and any messages sent by the subscriber to the broadcast list on WhatsApp as activated by the Data controller, are stored by the Data controller in its own archives for the lawful purposes for which they were gathered, until their cancellation is requested by the subscriber.
To cancel the subscription and therefore to no longer receive the messages through the broadcast list, simply delete the number from which the messages are received from you contact list or send a WhatsApp message to the number from which the messages are received, with the word UNSUBSCRIBE
To request cancellation of your data you can at any time contact the Data controller at the addresses given in the “Contacts” section. On receipt of the request for cancellation, the data shall be destroyed in accordance with the cancellation and backup methods used.
The data shall be processed by employees of the company's offices entrusted with the tasks indicated above, and expressly authorised to process the data, being persons who have also received suitable training and instructions.
The data may be processed, on behalf of the Data controller, by persons designated by this latter as the Responsible persons (such as, by way of example, companies that perform web site or IT management or maintenance services). Writing to the Data controller at the addresses reported in the “Contacts” section you may request a complete and updated list of Responsible persons that may process the data.
The Data controller may also divulge the data to Supervisory Bodies, judicial authorities and all other persons that have to be informed under the law.
Pursuant to articles 15 to 22 of the GDPR, the data subject may exercise his rights to access, consult, correct, cancel, destroy and limit the processing of the data and – as the case may be – see that the data are sent to another Data controller (transferability of the data), as well as oppose their processing for lawful reasons, writing to the Data controller at the addresses given in the “Contacts” section.
The Data subject has moreover the right to lodge a complaint with the Guarantor for the protection of personal data to protect his own rights.
