PREMA Racing continues the final stint of the 2025 Formula Regional European Championship by Alpine, and with three rounds to go, the team is heading to Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya with the goal of increasing its championship lead and building momentum.
Freddie Slater continues to lead the driver championship. Back in the previous round at Red Bull Ring, the fast Brit was able to maximize a challenging weekend, and he’s now ready to fight for victory again.
With good potential achieved in most races so far, Rashid Al Dhaheri is looking to bounce back to the podium, while Jack Beeton has had a good result in Austria and is set to try and gain more momentum.
For the coming event, PREMA will also field a fourth car for a new wild-card driver. Yuanpu Cui will return under the team’s banner after having competed with its karting operation in the past. The Chinese racer is part of the Mercedes-AMG F1 Team Junior Programme, and is currently competing in the GB3 Championship.
RENÉ ROSIN - Team Principal
"We are heading to decision time, and we need to be spotless at Barcelona to shape up the final part of the season on a very challenging track, where everybody is normally really close. As always, we are confident we have everything we need to accomplish the job with strong drivers and a strong team. In that regard, I would like to welcome Yuanpu to our FRECA team. We had positive runs in karting together, and we are looking to support him the best way we can."
