Everyone at PREMA came to Spielberg with the goal of making progress, and progress was made as highlighted by a fifth-place finish for Ugo Ugochukwu after yesterday's ill-fated fight for the podium. The American drove a solid race and kept himself among the leaders as the order constantly reshuffled, staying in full contention and eventually sealing off a fifth place.
Brando Badoer also had a solid start and kept himself comfortably in top-10 contention with a good outlook for the final part of the long and hard-fought race. Unfortunately, late contact caused suspension damage to his car, forcing him to retire.
Noel Leon had a tough start but showed great pace and climbed back to P13. With the hard fighting and DRS trains, making more progress turned out to be impossible and that meant the Mexican was prevented from grabbing a points finish. The series will return on track in a week at Silverstone.

"Feature Race done in Austria and it was another unlucky one. The pace was quite OK to stay in the top seven until I got hit. That broke my suspension and I had to retire."
#2 - Noel Leon
"Tough race. We had a really bad start and lost a lot of positions, and from there it was a little difficult to overtake. In the end, our pace was not looking bad. Let's turn the page and go to Silverstone aware that we have a much better car than in the past and we can fight for the podium."
#3 - Ugo Ugochukwu
"We had a good Feature Race. We started in P8 and made really good positions at the start, fighting for the podium places for the whole race. In the end, we fell back a little bit and had to settle for P5. Overall, the race pace was much much stronger this weekend. I think we need to fine-tune a little bit and fight just as strong in Silverstone."
